Day 4 Tuesday, June 3rd Hebron – Red Cloud (55)
Segment leaders: Rich Wilton 402-469-2972 & Skip Meyer 308-687-6173
7:00 Donuts/coffee at "World largest swing" by Oregon Trail Hebron

7:45 Drivers Meeting

8:00 Leave from downtown Hebron pass by three Nursing homes on the way to Deshler 9 miles (Yes we are going pass the nursing homes again this morning – as Tina from the Chamber requested that we do so)

9:00 Arrive Deshler passing by the Nursing home on the way to tour Reinke Irrigation during break

10:00 Leave Deshler for Ruskin 9 miles

11:00 Arrive Ruskin split drivers, half tour Tub Drohmans Masseys, Tubs Massey shop is an old John Deere dealership restored to look like a '50s Massy dealer.
Other half lunch on your own at Broken Spoke across the street, then switch groups

12:30 Leave Ruskin for Salem Lutheran church 12 miles

1:30 Arrive Salem break

2:00 Leave for Guide Rock 23 miles

3:30 Arrive Guide Rock quick stop (Fuel, bath rooms, & snacks)

4:30 Leave for Amboy (round barn ) 5 miles

5:00 Arrive round barn (possibly world largest round barn) pix.

5:45 Leave for Red Cloud – 5 miles. Supper furnished by Oregon Trail
JD in Red Cloud with local entertainment.

Lodging: The entire Cather Second Home has been reserved (six rooms) 541 North Seward St. There are 3 rooms still available – contact Donelle Moormeier 402-429-2480 if interested in one of the rooms. $250 for six rooms, divided equally between those staying.

8:00 Leave Red Cloud

South out of Red Cloud across the river, taking the river bottom road
All the way into Franklin.

Lunch Franklin

Naponee – break at the Nowhere Bar.

Republican City where Corps of Engineers will give us a tour of the Harlan County Dam.

Will travel the north side of the dam into Alma

Evening Alma – park at the Alma Livestock Sale Barn
