I don't know what is in it but if the cows are hungry for something different or something lacking they will do that. What do the instructions say? If it needs to be fed for a specific time interval to stop the life cycle you may have to put out a 2nd block.

Instructions said to remove all trace mineral blocks or salt blocks and introduce mollasses worm block if not gone in 3 days remove from herd and reitroduce trace mineral or salt block.
Two weeks ago the last of trace mineral block was gone- I do have to get another one.
Worm block was gone in two days
Block shoulda been introduced spring and fall- but also says you can introduce worm block when needed.

Couple things my pasture is eaten down I need to move them to more grass, I do leave a fresh round bale out there too for extra food, every day they get 5 gallon pail of grain (corn and mollases, pig feed, or heifer feed)

Yes, if they had been out of the tm block for 2 weeks that would explain why they were hungry for the wormer. I try to never let my salt and mineral feeders go empty. My mineral bill would scare you but I think it pays me dividends in herd health.
