I'm still playing with The JD 1010 crawler, hopefully I will have it going by spring. Geez figure I would have it going by last fall, surprise, surprise: seems like this is a never ending project. I still have to rebuild the hydraulic pump, I have all the parts just need to find time to do it. Shawn and I went to Benton city yesterday loaded my 16 foot trailer with cherry wood, approximately 2 1/2 cords, 100 miles round trip. I still have about 1 1/2 cord left to go get, maybe Saturday.

Talked to Jon (magman) for about 45 minutes this morn, just had to check up on him. Make sure he was enjoying the nice weather we sent him.!!!!! :D  :D

It's Ground Hog day. Do you have half of your hay and wood left? Winter is half over. Of course here we feed way more the 2nd half than we do the first. Right now I have 200 expectant mothers but I am planning to sell some of the oldest in a couple weeks. Lately about all I do is chores and move snow. I have a couple hundred ton of alfalfa to haul home this month. Tues pitalplace helped me put a visor on the Dodge. This was something I had wanted for a long time. The flatbed was my Christmas present.

Don't know about the winter just half over, I think for us winter is about gone.. 44 degrees here and sun shining today, much needed rain last nite. We can always use the moisture. Lots of snow in the higher elevation, that is where we like it, need the run off to fill reservoirs for irrigation.

Nice looking truck Howard, I'll trade ya my 1980 Ford 1 ton flat bed straight cross..

I am ready for winter to be OVER. We have barely made it up to 32deg in January and February has been +60 one day and 0 the next. It`s bone dry,we need rain as soon as the frost goes out, which may be this week.
