Will go to the little town parade on Saturday, no fireworks this year, fire dept has no money for it. Maybe next year. They did it for 20 years. Was always on the 3rd in the upper park. Mayor said the City couldn't help any either. Been a lean year here. The ladies at the restraunt/bar stepped up and made sure there would be a parade and is furnishing the hotdogs and hamburger. Mayor will be the grill man, bring a dish and share at the park. Little town of 280 people. Then off to the big town for the parade on the 4th. This was my hometown growing up, 10 miles east of here, 6 miles from our farm. Always has had a nice 4th of July parade....James

No big plans for the 4th this year, most years I go to camp in VT. the wife has to work this year.
I have been going through alot of my F-12/F-14, have had alot of fuel problems, rust in tank,
fuel pump, and carbs. Most just need a good cleaning as they don't get used much. As of yesterday they are all running. Next week I have 5 tractors on steel I need to move to the show grounds for our summer show 9th-10th. 34' F-12 kero wide front on full steel, 30' Regular on full steel, 35' F-12 tricyle full steel, 33' F-12 tricyle full steel with #90 mounted plow, 40' H wide front full steel with full set of cultivators. oldiron29

Probably not much. I have been clipping pastures the last few days. It's been so muggy and hot that I can't breath so I have been coming back to the house at noon and not going back out until 5 or 6 pm. I'm starting to hate Arkansas summers.

I was haying. I stooped at noon for my little bachelor lunch and just as i dozed off on the seat of the pickup I heard raindrops. So that stopped that for the day. But I am always happy for rain. We'll see what tonight and tomorrow brings. So far it has not done more than get the grass wet. I have been studying the history of the Metro van this afternoon.
