Yesterday afternoon at about 3:30, we FINALLY carried out the Death Sentence on our bull. This was after the "governor called" 3 times, and gave him a "stay of execution" for one reason or another! We have been trying to get him done for the past couple of months, but something always happened to stop it - funeral (not his...), help sick, ME sick, etc....
He's out there, hanging on the loader. Today, we will cut him up, and put him where he belongs. He was HARD on fences, but fairly gentle for a Jersey Bull. He had to weigh over 1200#. Should be enough meat to last us, wife's parents, and one of our neighbors for quite awhile....
